JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Feb 19, 2008 (PrimeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Website Pros, Inc. (Nasdaq: WSPI), a leading provider of Web and marketing services for small and medium-sized businesses, today announced that it intends to change its name to Web.com. The name change could take place as soon as the first half of 2008.

"The name Web.com clearly embodies who we are as an online company and is broad enough to serve as a complete corporate identity across all of our online brands," stated David Brown, Chairman and CEO, Website Pros. "The name is simple, memorable and well-suited for our company as we provide a complete line of Web and online marketing services for small and medium-sized businesses. Further, the name, Web.com, not only properly reflects our evolving company, but also provides a powerful brand identity that customers, partners, employees and investors can all readily understand."

Website Pros purchased Web.com, formerly Interland, last year. The stock was up over 3% to $11.81 on the news.
