CENTENNIAL, Colo., Sept. 30, 2008 - Verio, a leading provider of online business solutions for small to medium sized businesses (SMBs), today announced the appointments of Scott Calvert and Peter von der Linde to lead its global channel and OEM sales organizations, respectively.
Calvert, drawing upon more than a decade of sales management and channel experience, joins the company as senior director of channel sales. In this capacity, he will lead the ViaVerio reseller program as well as oversee its integration with the company's retail sales channel. von der Linde joins as senior director of OEM sales, with responsibility for both new partner recruitment and global service delivery.
Verio sells hosting, hosted business applications and managed services to the SMB market direct, through an active base of resellers (the viaVerio Program), and through a private label OEM program for global telecommunications companies.

Calvert will play a critical role at the helm of Verio's award-winning reseller channel and will continue to evolve the program's strengths. Prior to joining Verio, Calvert was vice president of sales on demand for MX Logic, where he championed a hybrid sales model that culminated in the company being named number 59 on the 2007 Inc 500 list of fastest growing companies.
von der Linde will lead the company's OEM sales and support organization, providing lifecycle support for Verio's partnerships with global carriers, ISPs, and other OEMs. Prior to joining Verio, von der Linde was vice president of sales at Infocrossing, an IT infrastructure outsourcing company serving medium to large enterprise clients. Before that, he held several senior sales and marketing positions with Sprint Corporation, where he was instrumental in leading the company's hosting and professional services efforts."
