RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hosted Solutions, the East Coast’s premier data center and managed services provider, announced today that the company is the official IT infrastructure host for the 143rd build for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The Emmy‐award winning hit reality show on ABC Television is coming to the northeastern area of North Carolina to surprise a lucky and deserving family with an extreme home makeover.
Several companies and thousands of volunteers are coming together in Edenton, N.C. to implement an intense, concentrated one‐week build of a new home that will make a miracle happen for a deserving family.
Hosted Solutions is providing the IT infrastructure and services to support the official website and central registration database for the show. As part of this, the company is donating a fully redundant infrastructure consisting of fully managed firewalls, load-balancing, server and storage infrastructure supported by an enterprise class data center and multi honed bandwidth across multiple tier 1 providers. Several Hosted Solutions employees donated their time in the evenings and over the weekend to support this initiative.
