NEW YORK & SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Abacus Group LLC today announced the roll-out of its private cloud offering “AbacusFlex“ to all investment managers. AbacusFlex is a private cloud that enables investment managers to host all aspects of their technology in secure and redundant data centers. This includes core systems such as order management, risk management and accounting systems, as well as email, mobile devices, and voice solutions. AbacusFlex also offers cutting edge disaster recovery services to fund managers.
Launched in response to industry feedback from hedge funds and asset managers, AbacusFlex development was guided by industry veteran, Chris Grandi and delivers not only a hosted IT offering but also a full service customer approach. Abacus Group currently works with over 80 hedge funds across the United States. Abacus has a growing staff of pedigreed professionals who all have experience with leading hedge funds or hedge fund service providers. Abacus maintains offices in both New York and San Francisco.
Abacus Founder Chris Grandi comments, “Hedge Funds and traditional asset managers who are looking for an alternative to the expensive and onerous process of managing IT internally, now have a choice to host their technology off site. By partnering with Abacus, funds can focus on their primary business, and feel secure that Abacus will manage and protect their technology in a way that is consistent, scalable, and secure.”
Michele McGovern, COO at Resultant Capital Partners adds, “In the current regulatory environment, it’s increasingly important for fund managers to demonstrate they have best-in-class technology and operations. Abacus provides secure, institutional-quality technology infrastructure that is cost-effective and scalable as business needs expand.”
